In this case BLOG stands for Builder's Log. You need one for the FAA anyway, so why not keep it in public, so friends, relatives and other builders can follow your progress?
The trick to completing the build is to do something, anything on the plane every single day. Documenting your work on a daily, or weekly basis is a great way to self-motivate. You begin to feel responsible to your readership. You have to report something - so you get something done. This also gives you something to do while the epoxy cures.
Blogs are free to active builders. You can add text and images any time you like. Readers can add comments, but the main text is under your control. No one can edit what you say. Send me a PM in the forum, and we'll set you up with a blog.
